It's a friendly little local market with artisan vendors, fresh vegetables, a restaurant... I've been there a couple of times now and it's quite lovely.

NOT so friendly market we experienced as we were driving into Second Wedge Brewery at 2.45 pm this Sunday afternoon with 3 classic cars! Apparently there were two or three vendors packing up and leaving, screaming and yelling at us saying we drove through the barricade (there was NO barricade and if there was one we would not have gotten through!) One vendor threatened he would scratch our car with his sign and another wanted to start a physical fight once we did park and get out of our cars. We had no idea there was even a market there and we were verbally assaulted as we drove through and approached as we exited our cars. One person pounded on a 13x19” sign on a post directly outside the brewery that we only saw once we were out of our cars and walking into the brewery which did say road closed until 3PM. As tourists who are not familiar with this market, we had no idea what we were driving into. Horrible and upsetting experience.

three couples today had an absolutely horrifying experience at your market. We came to the market area with the hopes to have a refreshing beer at the brewery, only to find that we were accosted verbally by a number of your vendors as we drove down the road towards the brewery unknowing that the road was supposedly closed. And as tourists we would have no idea. There were no barriers in place indicating that the road was closed at 2:45 On Sunday afternoon. Individual vendors were swearing at us, and there were threatening gestures as we drove down the road towards the brewery. One gentleman was very aggressive, and on numerous occasions, appeared to be quite interested in Fighting with our group. As tourist, we will not be recommending your brewery or your farmers market area to any of our friends. And quite frankly You might want to introduce some level of code of conduct for your vendors in dealing with situations which apparently they are not emotionally capable of Handling… A big black mark on your market and certainly the brewery. Sad day for Uxbridge.

Great local market! Fresh produce, friendly vendors, and a fun atmosphere. Perfect way to spend a Sunday morning in Uxbridge. Always something new to discover!

You should check what Montgomeryshire Orchards And Nursery is doing with his NOT PAID WORKERS! We received complaints from some of the International helpers working for free with that man! He's not paying them, he makes them work more than 8 hours a day without real breaks and not too much water when it is around 40C outside. Those unpaid helpers have not other place to go because they are stuck with the owner on his farm. He told them that he they were not happy, they can get out of his farm! He maltreats them where they are hosted with a rude way of talking. He seems to be always grumpy and has an aggressive behaviour against all those non paid international helpers! He should be kicked out of the Uxbridge market and have his farm fully inspected! You should investigate how he produces and who is working on his farm! It is out raging to see, in 2022, a old guy treating helpers like SLAVES on his farm!

Small but very nice market. I think I was there on an off weekend. But I can see how a street festival at this location would be a very nice experience.

Improved compared to the last year when I went. More booths, more unique items. Very pet friendly. Location is in a wonderful venue and I wish the area lit up at night and turned into a cafe/beer garden-like area.

Thanks for your feedback. Concerns about our vendors can be emailed to [email protected]. For concerns specific to on-farm labour relations, you can contact the appropriate WWOOF organizations as worker agreements are beyond the market scope.

Thanks for the great review. This past weekend we had venders away for other festivals, illness and weather concerns. Normally we are packed!
