Visited today with my grandchildren. The salad, burgers, and mild wings were all delicious. Great food, talented chefs, and sweet service. Highly recommend this place!
Popped in for a quick bite before an event at the music hall - didn’t realize it was a dual pub and Indian resto but glad we went in. Ordered aloo Gobi and butter chicken, both were excellent. Only miss was no ciders on the menu and the decor is a bit meh / non existent but it was good food and quick service. Enjoyed the meal and will be returning.
I believe that this is a Family business sports bar & grill specializing in wings, burgers & Indian food - staff are lovely - polite - service is fast and prices very reasonable. We have never been disappointed when eating here and as I say the serving staff are lovely and very accommodating. If you want a relaxed unpretentious place to eat Universal is a great place to go 4-1/2✨️ stars for me!!
Went here with a friend and what a disaster! I had the veggie burger and it was so hard I couldnt bite into it! The server brought out another meal but I couldn't eat it. The fries were cooked in old oil and coated in salt. Honestly, as soon as I saw who the owners were, I should have left. Stay away from this restaurant if you care about safe food handling. I would not be surprised if this place sparked a food poisoning outbreak tbh ?
Went here on a wimp for a tea and dessert before taking in a show at the Music Hall. Got the delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding. This sports bar was clean and featured many sports memorabilia. Waitress and service was nice. A good atmosphere. If I'm in the area again, will surely visit again especially for the Toffee pudding.
Not sure if this place is under new management, but the food quality has gone down. Ordered takeout and the person who answered the phone hung up on us. We called back and she didn't even apologize, which we should have taken as a sign not to order. We ordered wings and fries. Both were terrible. The wings were hard and overcooked, likely old. The fries were also way overcooked. We ordered 2lbs wings and large fries but it was definitely much less. We will never order here again. Bad service and bad food.
Delicious wings with sooooo many flavours! The burger was one of the best I've had. I'm hard to please when it comes to burgers because I have super high expectations and this burger definitely met my expectations. Highly recommend!
