Everybody I met there were friendly and helpful. I took my boat in for service, the shop foreman called and discussed any problems I was having and suggested what should be done and how to save me some money. The next time I need service, I'll be taking my boat there.
Bought a $30,000.00 + side by side from Chris who was great to deal with up until the crap piece of machine started giving us problems right from the start. We live an hour and half away and when we had to take it back for repairs the first time we had to rent a trailer and was told they wouldn't cover the cost to bring it back. We only had it at that time for a couple of months and the clutch went in it. After further arguing they agreed to pay to have it returned but just for one way. After the so called repair, we brought it home and the machine hasn't worked properly since. Tried to bring it back again, and again they refused to pay for the shipping charge. It cost us $300 to rent a trailer and cost to bring it back and forth. Let alone my husband having to take time off work and have his pay reduced to do this. The machine to date only has 54 km on it and we cant change the gear shift. When we do manage to get it to change gears it wont go into park and it stays in reverse. After dealing with the service guy Rob about having to bring it back for the second time for repairs I was told by him that they won't cover the cost to have it returned for the second time. He also told me that we were lucky that they were going to fix it in the first place. This machine has full and extra warranty that we paid for. So we had no choice but to go through CF Moto directly and they directed us to another place that takes care of their warranty repairs. We will never deal with DT Powersports again. For the price we gave them you would think their customer service would be very generous. I hope the next person that drops over 30 Grand to them gets treated better.
Quite possibly the worst customer service we have ever received. Unfortunately twice over. First time using DT power Sports at Uxbridge last year. Our boat motor was having running issues. When we dropped it off we told the to fix whatever the issue was and to go over the engine as it hadn’t had a tune up in sometime other than oil changes and changing out the plugs. We were quoted time wise 3 weeks. Five weeks patently waiting we finally give a call. On the sixth week away it was finally ready to go. Happily we go pick it up go to pay to find out they replaced brand new spare plugs that we had just put in. Upon mentioning they were new plugs in it the senior customer service representative at the front desk change the plug price to cost price instead of the retail cost. So we paid the near $1800.00 bill and brought it home and it ran well that summer. (So fine lets forget the lost time and the spare plugs) Fast forward spring 2025 Third time out this year the engine quit and would not run. (Keep in mind this engine has been coined the one pull wonder as since it was bought it started every time on the first pull). We call over and yes they would take the boat again 3 weeks predicted for return. We drop the boat off Happily we receive a text 1.5 weeks later that it is running and good to go and to call Mark (marine manager) We give him a call to be told the plugs that WE put in were gapped improperly and so they had changed them and for almost $500 it was ready to go. Upon explaining (while looking at our previous bill) that they had put the last set of plugs in the unit then the we got the run around that maybe it was the oil we were using at which we explained it is the same oil that we were recommended using upon buying the engine from the dealer and the oil we had us without incident since buying some time ago. Unfortunately in the long run after no further communication about our boat no returned calls from Mark or “Craig head Marine mechanic” each saying we would have to talk to the other then the other would not call us back. We showed up paid a now almost $800.00 bill. It is very unfortunate that Greg Booth would not know (or care?) how his employees are treating current customers knowing great customer service makes future returning customers as well as referrals of future clients. If you do decide to use this retailer I do wish you the best of luck.
Brought my new cf moto 800 in for the 300km service since the valve clearance had to be checked for warranty purposes as part of the service. Was quoted a similar price as other dealers so gave them a try. Get the machine back and realize the main item I needed a dealer for wasn't done. Spoke to Rob who felt it wasn't needed? Well cf moto head office disagreed. Basically I was charged full price but didn't get the main item needed. I got fluid changes for 620 that I can do in 1.5 hours myself for 60 bucks in oil. After a long winded event with cf moto dt finally agreed to do the item however at this point I just moved on to a dealer who understands a customer's needs to maintain warranty. Very unhappy with my first visit to dt and warn all my riding friends to stay Clear....
I bought a brand new ranger polaris 2021 from them, not only did I have to keep following up with them to know when it came in ( which it did and they never notified me) When I went to pick it up I bought a roof and a wench which they had to order, its now been 4 months - calling again to see if my stuff has come in to which they informed me the roof had been there the whole time.... now I am still waiting for my wench 0 communication or follow up on their part...Will not go back here.
Hard to believe how bad the experience was dealing with DT. They were unwilling to verify an existing warranty issue even though they are an authorized dealer. I called, explained the issue and they said drop it off. I drove 2.5 hours to drop it off — again they took all the details and said leave it. They called the next day without even looking at the boat and said they did not WANT to work on the boat — not profitable enough. Their reply to this review says the warranty was over — complete lie — it was an existing warranty claim. A 5 minute phone call would have figured this out. They said they did not want to waste their time. But it’s ok to waste my time and have me drop off the boat, and go back and pick it up for nothing — 10 hours of driving. Called Ranger and they are upset and dealing with them. The new dealer had no issues fixing the issue UNDER WARRANTY. Avoid this dealership at all costs — worst customer service experience ever. ZERO stars should be an option.
So I put a small down payment thousand dollars on a boat they had in the winter time I wanted to come by and do a water trial so I went to look at the boat didn’t look too bad but they would not give me any kind of guarantee whatsoever they just wanted me to buy it I’m blind faith that everything was going to be OK So I declined to take the boat they said too bad about your deposit I’m ripped off so that’s the kind of people you’re going to be dealing with b very careful and get this information upfront before you buy anything from these turkeys
